The Low Down... what's it all about?

Since launching our Photography Academy at the beginning of 2023, we have been working with education providers in Hampshire and Berkshire. We are now ready to start our own seminars/workshops across all areas of the UK on all different aspects of aviation and general photography, with the last hour or so of the day turned over to you, to ask for specific advice on anything. We will be covering camera basics, have you just become interested in aviation photography? Are you under 16 years of age? Good news as you wont pay to join us, we will have a limited number of places available on each workshop.

Other topics will include advanced camera knowledge, night and low light photography, tripod usage, post processing using all the different software available, scanning prints, negatives and positives, editing scans, and so much more.

Our staff are all fully DBS checked and have extensive knowledge in photography, videography and editing through their roles as professional photographers and teachers.

Aviation Photography Editing

Location: TBC West Midlands Area.

Date:  December 2024

Editing your aviation images, is very subjective and maybe you will have your own style already, or you haven't dipped your toe into the world of Photoshop or Lightroom! Either way, this course is for you, we will take images on site and use your own to teach you the workflow you find most comfortable.

Night Photography

Location: TBA Southwest

Date: February 2025

As we are famous for our nightshoots, why wouldn't we do a day of low light and night photography tuition. The main hall inside the museum is very dark, due to there being no windows and feature lighting, so its perfect to simulate low light. We will also have a live aircraft on the airfield to play with. This workshop will start later and continue into the evening darkness.
