Navy Wings Nightshoot V.

at Navy Wings Heritage Centre, RNAS Yeovilton, Ilchester, BA22 8HT.


Thursday 17th October 2019 sees our fifth Navy Wings Night Photoshoot but this one is set to be a purely rotary themed affair. The line up will start with a 705NAS Gazelle HT.2 and will end with today’s Fleet Air Arm rotary assets. The other Navy Wings aircraft will be in the hangar to see and if room on the line we may pull some out. More helicopters will be confirmed soon.

As with previous nightshoots, once the sun goes down we will be using our battery-powered portable LED lamps to light all the participating aircraft on the apron, there will be no re-enactors at this event




  • 1630-1700: Arrival at the Little Yeo car park
  • 1630-1730: Coach transport from the car park to the Navy Wings Heritage Centre
  • 1730: No admittance after this time
  • 1800: Airside access begins
  • 2030-2100 Coach transport from the Navy Wings Heritage Centre to the car park
  • 2100: Airside access ends

Ticket information

Tickets are priced at £30.00 and are available to purchase below. Tickets are strictly limited to ensure the there is no overcrowding and there is no fighting for position during the evening.

Entry to the event is for those aged 16 or older and each ticket holder must have valid photographic ID (passport, driving license, etc.) in order to enter RNAS Yeovilton.

Please note that without a high visibility jacket or coat, you will be refused entry to the event.

After purchasing your ticket you MUST send your vehicle details (make, model, colour, registration) to us via [email protected]  This is not optional and failure to provide will mean you will not able to park on base.
