We will be attending the Cocoa Beach Show and Sun 'n' Fun airshow at Lakeland Airport in Florida, and a number of museums, Cape Canaveral and airports in the central Florida area.
PROVISIONAL ITINERARY
Friday 10th April
Travel from London to Orlando. Following a brief transfer by private coach, guests will spend eight nights at our three-star hotel in Kissimmee, with accommodation provided on a bed and breakfast basis. Dining options are available within the hotel or within walking distance, and a Walmart superstore is conveniently located nearby for essential purchases.
Saturday 11th April
Following breakfast, guests will depart via a privately chartered coach to Cocoa Beach for the Salute to America in Space 250 Airshow. Confirmed participants include the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the USAF F-16 Demo Team. Upon conclusion of the airshow, attendees will return to the hotel by coach.
Sunday 12th April
Our group will travel by private transportation to the Kennedy Space Centre for the day. Guests who wish to attend a second day at the airshow may be dropped off en route. Alternatively, there is the option of a free day to explore the local area or visit one of the Disney Parks using the hotel's courtesy shuttle service.
Monday 13th April
After breakfast, guests will depart on a privately chartered coach to the Valiant Air Command Museum in Titusville. The museum features approximately fifty historic warbirds, including notable exhibits such as the NASA Shaped Sonic Boom Demonstration and the Northrop F-5E. Following a tour of the airfield, the itinerary includes visits to Patrick Air Force Base, Melbourne Airport, Merritt Island, and Kissimmee Airports to view aircraft from designated vantage points outside the perimeter. Additional locations may be included if time permits. Guests will return to the hotel in the evening.
Tuesday 14th April
Our group will use private transportation to reach Lakeland Regional Airport for our first day at the SUN’n’FUN air show. We’ll spend the entire day there before returning to our hotel in the evening.
Wednesday 15th April
For day two, we use private transportation to reach Lakeland Regional Airport to spend another full day at the SUN’n’FUN air show. We’ll stay late for the Fireworks/night show, then drive back to the hotel.
Thursday 16th April
For day three, it’s a repeat of day one, our group will use private transportation to reach Lakeland Regional Airport for our third day at the SUN’n’FUN air show. We’ll spend the entire day there before returning to our hotel in the evening.
Friday 17th April
Travellers can take the coach to Lakeland Airport if they wish to spend a fourth day at the SUN’n’FUN show. Alternatively, those remaining on the coach will visit the renowned Fantasy of Flight Museum, featuring Kermit Weeks' extensive warbird collection. The journey continues to Winter Haven Airport for optional pleasure flights in float-equipped Cubs at Jack Browns Seaplane Base (flights are self-funded). Afterwards, the coach returns to Lakeland for pickup before heading back to the hotel.
Saturday 18th April
We will check out of our hotel and proceed to board our coach for transfer to Orlando Airport, where we will have an opportunity for aircraft spotting and photography before departing on our return flight.
Total cost of package price, which will be based on a twin room on a bed and breakfast basis at a mid-range hotel, private professionally driven transport travel in Florida.

Payment for this Tour: This will be made direct to Custom Travel Ltd and covers all the travel items as stated in the ‘What’s on Us’ section.
You will be required to pay a deposit once we have the required number of spaces filled to make the tour viable, which will secure your place and the trip itself.
Custom Travel will contact you direct for this payment after we have the required number of travellers to make this viable, this may not be immediate.
IMPORTANT: The operation of the airshows is outside of the control of both Custom Travel Ltd and Threshold. These items do not form part of the Travel Package and any cancellation/curtailment of these will not affect the running of the trip. Should these event(s) be cancelled prior to trip departure, we will endeavour to arrange alternative itineraries for those days within the same cost window.

Coach Travel:
All our tours will be conducted using a professionally operated commercial vehicle, with suitably qualified driver in line with local and national laws to ensure your health and safety, and compliance with insurance and legal requirements. We will never utilise hire vehicles with a tour manager or member of the tour acting as the driver as this will be illegal as all members of the tour will have made a payment to the hire.

Airport Security:
Airport security staff may ask you to turn on electronic or battery-powered devices, such as phones, tablets, e-books and laptops, to demonstrate their function. If you're not able to do this, you will not be able to take your device with you.
All medication should be accompanied by documentary proof of authenticity, such as a prescription or letter from a medical practitioner confirming that you need them for your journey. Liquid medication that is not required on the flight should be carried as hold luggage.
Climate and Currency:
The daytime temps of between 20-30°C can be the norm, sunscreen and head and neck protection is recommended when out for long periods with little shade.
The currency in USA is the US Dollar. Major credit cards are accepted everywhere.
Other Travel Arrangements:
All flight departure and arrival times are correct at the time of preparing this itinerary; however, it is worth noting that many airlines may change their flight times with limited warning. The final itinerary will show the actual times. Anyone making their own arrangements around that of the tour, should bear the above in mind if purchasing non-refundable or non-changeable tickets. Threshold cannot be held responsible for any changes, to flight times in respect to any privately arranged travel tickets not being useable.
