We will be hosting a 747 Open Day at Dunsfold Aerodrome on 22nd August 2026, which will include the LANDOR experience, where you can get onboard this icon of the skies for a guided tour. Also there will be a traders marketplace, food traders and so much more.

Landor Open Day Admission
This ticket option gives you access to the open day site, you will be able to explore the area around the 747, but with no access onboard the 747, listening to engineering talks and stories given by ex crews and engineers.
You'll also be able to explore the Marketplace, where you will find aviation and local traders along with food traders. Lastly the Open Day stage will be featuring talks, chats and your favourite digital creators.
This ticket will cost £20 for adults and is free for Under 16 year olds (a ticket is needed).
Once purchased you will receive your ticket(s) please ensure you have these as either printed or digital format and ready to scan once you are out of your vehicle.
As well as the 747, we will also have a few helicopters which have been used in filming, these will be a UH-1 Huey and Mil Mi9. For these to be seen in public, is very rare.
Please Note: This ticket option does not include access on board the 747 or access after 17:30 for the evening photocall. Please see the other options for these.

The Landor Tour Experience Ticket.
Book your 30min tour of this iconic 747, the only preserved 747, still in the condition when it was retired in the UK. This ticket will give you full Open Day access including a tour, guided by a Cabin crew member. You'll see First Class, the Upper Deck, Cockpit, Galleys, Economy Seating and more.
Note: This ticket also covers your admission to the open day.
This ticket will cost £40 for adults and £10 for 5-16 year olds. The tour is not suitable for under 5s and strollers/prams. Due to the access limitations, the tour is only suitable for the able bodied.
When booking your ticket(s) you will be asked to choose a 30min time block, You will need to check in 20 mins prior to the chosen time at the Landor Check-in desk.
Once purchased, you will receive two tickets, one will get you into the Open Day site, the other will need to be scanned at the Landor check-in desk 20mins before your chosen time. You will then be given your souvenir boarding pass, ready for boarding.
Capture this Queen in the evening with no obstructions.
Landor Evening Photocall Ticket
This ticket includes access to the open day, so you can turn up at anytime through the day and enjoy the marketplace, food and stage. Once the light softens and the sun starts to set, the City of Swansea will have all clutter removed for photography.
Note: This ticket also covers your admission to the open day.
This ticket will cost £40 for all. As you can see, the aircraft looks stunning when subtly lit in the evening. As well as the 747, we will have a UH-1 Huey and Mil Mi9 which are both film stars and based at Dunsfold with Aviation Filming.
Once purchased, you will receive two tickets, one will get you into the Open Day site, the other will need to be scanned at 18:00 at the Event Check-in flag around the nose of the 747.

Can I bring a dog
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on the site, except for guide dogs but you must let us know when you book your ticket via [email protected]
I am disabled, will I be able to access the 747?
We would love to offer access onboard to everyone, unfortunately due to the nature of the location and access limitations, we can only offer this to able bodied persons.
Are children allowed onboard the 747?
Yes, 5-16 Year old children can buy a ticket, but must be accompanied by a full paying adult. The tour and aircraft are not suitable for the under 5s.
Will I be able to sit in the captains seat?
This sadly is not an option, you can stand at the door and take photos of the cockpit, but access in will be restricted.
Can I fly a drone?
No, flying of drones during the open day is prohibited.
What if I'm late for my tour slot?
If you are late, we will endeavour to get you fitted in if we have that ability.
Can I stay for the evening photoshoot?
Only those who have purchased an evening photocall ticket can stay past 17:30.
Where can I leave my stroller/Buggy whilst on the 747?
There will be an area where you can leave these behind the check-in desks.
