The 2023 NATO Tiger Meet will take place at Gioia Del Colle AB, Italy. An airshow date has been announced as Sunday 8th October, with a spotters' day on Friday 6th October. With participants now listed for the meet HERE.
ITINERARY
THURSDAY 5th October
Travel from London Gatwick/Other London Airport to Naples early morning, then pick up our private transport and check into our 4 star hotel on a half board basis in Alberobello.
FRIDAY 6th October
Attend the Spotters' Day on base at Gioia Del Colle.
SATURDAY 7th October
We have organised a guided tour of both Alberobello and Matera a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where scenes from the James Bond film 'No Time To Die' were filmed. Both places are truly picturesque and offer some great photography options. If it is found that there will be significant action at Gioia del Colle we can spend the day there instead.
SUNDAY 8th October
Attend the Tiger Meet Airshow on base at Gioia Del Colle.
MONDAY 9th October
Travel back to Gatwick/Other London Airport from Naples mid morning.
COST
Total cost of package price, which is based on a twin share room on a half board basis at 4star hotel, private chauffeured transport in Italy (Which complies with all country regulations regarding hire car usage), all flights and including all tour manager costs.

Single Supplement option +£300 Per Person
NOTE: There is no land only price for this trip, however we will price your individual requirements from any local UK airport or International airport of your choice, this way you are still covered under the package protection. This option may increase the cost or can decrease it from a local airport in the same country as the tour destination.
IMPORTANT
FINANCES: Payment for this Tour: This will be made direct to Travel Counsellors Ltd and covers all the travel items as stated in the ‘What’s on Us’ section. You will be required to pay the full amount after filling out your booking request form below, which will secure your place and the trip itself.
Alec Walker of Travel Counsellors will contact you direct for the full payment after we have the required number of travellers to make this tour viable, this may not be immediately after booking.
IMPORTANT: The operation of the spotters' day and airshow are outside of the control of both Travel Counsellors Ltd and Threshold.aero. These items do not form part of the Travel Package and any cancellation/curtailment of these will not affect the running of the trip. Should these event(s) be cancelled prior to trip departure, we will endeavour to arrange alternative itineraries for those days within the same cost window
NTM: The booking details have not been published by the organisation yet, once booked and paid you must book yourself onto the two events, we will be monitoring their website daily and will email you with the relevent details when published.

Passports and Visas:
It is your duty to ensure you are in compliance with all entry requirements listed on the FCDO website (for British passport holders), or the appropriate national authority (for non-British passport holders). Threshold and Travel Counsellors will not be held responsible for any entry refusals or delays due to failure to comply with the entry requirements at the point of entry.
Coach Travel:
All our tours will be conducted using a professionally operated commercial vehicle, with suitably qualified driver in line with local and national laws to ensure your health and safety, and compliance with insurance and legal requirements. We will never utilise hire vehicles with a tour manager or member of the tour acting as the driver as this will be illegal as all members of the tour will have made a payment towards the hire.
Mobility:
At present we do not know what rules the organisation or hosts may impose, this will be updated as soon as we get more details.
COVID Entry Requirements:
It is your duty to ensure you are following all COVID-19 requirements listed on the FCDO website (for British passport holders), or the appropriate national authority (for non-British passport holders). Threshold and Travel Counsellors will not be held responsible for any entry refusals or delays due to failure to comply with the entry requirements at the point of entry.
Airport Security:
Airport security staff may ask you to turn on electronic or battery-powered devices, such as phones, tablets, e-books and laptops, to demonstrate their function. If you're not able to do this, you will not be able to take your device with you.
All medication should be accompanied by documentary proof of authenticity, such as a prescription or letter from a medical practitioner confirming that you need them for your journey. Liquid medication that is not required on the flight should be carried as hold luggage.
Climate and Currency:
Italy will be warm and sunny with daytime temps of between 15-20°C.
The currency in Italy is the Euro. Major credit cards are accepted everywhere. Various squadrons may sell items on base during the spotters’ day and cash will be accepted and most probably preferred there.
Other Travel Arrangements:
All flight departure and arrival times are correct at the time of preparing this itinerary; however, it is worth noting that many airlines may change their flight times with limited warning. The final itinerary will show the actual times. Anyone making their own arrangements around that of the tour, should bear the above in mind if purchasing non-refundable or non-changeable tickets. Threshold cannot be held responsible for any changes, to flight times in respect to any privately arranged travel tickets not being useable.
